The tourist activities in Tatarstan include two types of events: seasonal and religious festivities, and cultural festivals. Religious festivities are mostly Muslim: Navruz, Uraza, Kurban-Bairam, and so on; and Orthodox Christian: Christmas, Shrovetide, Easter, and others.
