19.08.2008 15:33 A short-length film under the title “Nagyima” was shot in Kazan. The art director of the film is Arvo Ikho an Estonian producer and operator. The author of the script is Nargiz Nuriyev, a Tatarstan citizen. Shooting works began on the 19th of June and finished on the 19th of August. The scenes of Kazan the capital of Tatarstan were used widely.
It was shot in the streets; in children’s homes. The film is about the way of life of Muslim women. The main hero is Nagyima a young Muslim girl. The film talks that women and young ladies live a full life being religious. The main hero Nagyima is a student in one university. At the same time she is a teacher she takes English classes for children. A girl is a very communicative and friendly. She helped her friend in a difficult situation. The actors were chosen very carefully here, they are the artists of Tatar State Theatre of Drama and comedy named after K.Tinchurin.
